St Lucia Island
Our trip started in St Lucia but before we could get going Dave and first mate Mike Krois had to pick up the yacht in Martinique. Martinique is a French owned island and uses the Euro currency while the other islands use the East Caribbean Dollar.
Dave and Mike as they pick up the boat and head to St Lucia to pick up the rest of the crew.
Meanwhile the rest of us were landing at the airport in St Lucia

Finally after a tranquil taxi ride we hit the beach in Gros Islet

Dave and Mike arrive in Gros Islet and we finally get on the boat.
From Gros Islet we head to The Pitons. The Pitons also the name of a fine Caribbean beer have been the backdrop of many movies including the Pirates of the Caribbean.

Aside from beautiful scenery we also met lots of interesting people.
