Cloud's Rest Hike
One day on my way back to Tuolumne I picked up a couple hitch hikers, Faith and Fonda who work at the Ahwahnee Hotel.
Faith and Fonda on Tenaya Lake. They were on their way to hike Cloud's Rest on a stormy day. After Cloud's Rest they finished their trip by hiking to Yosemite Valley on the John Muir Trail.

One week later I also hiked Cloud's Rest. I left at 5 AM though and was back down at Tenaya Lake by 10:30 AM.

Every year I try to hike Halfdome in late September in remembrance of Kim Evans but this year I changed up a little and hiked Cloud's Rest instead.
Cloud's Rest has a great view of Halfdome and I believe, fulfills my commitment.
